About Rockland Trailers in Arizona

Our roots in the towing and heavy transport industry run deep—four generations deep, to be exact. It all began in the 1930s when Thornton’s Garage launched a heavy towing and recovery operation in Truckee, California. Decades later, in the 1990s, the family branched into excavating and heavy construction in Massachusetts under the name Rockland.

That foundation eventually brought us to Scottsdale, Arizona, where we established our 2-acre trailer manufacturing and sales facility in 2011. Today, Rockland Trailers continues the family tradition of hard work and quality craftsmanship. Nick, our Shop Foreman, and Julia, our Sales and Office Manager, carry the torch into the fourth generation.
