When you buy a Haulmark trailer, you’re investing in a product built for the long haul. To give you confidence, Haulmark backs its trailers with limited warranty coverage. Here’s a breakdown of what’s covered and what’s not — in plain English.

How Long Am I Covered?

Different models come with different warranty terms:

  • Steel Models3-Year Structural Warranty + 1-Year Limited Warranty

  • Aluminum Models3-Year Structural Warranty + 1-Year Limited Warranty

  • Transport Models3-Year Structural Warranty + 1-Year Limited Warranty

  • Passport Models1-Year Structural Warranty + 1-Year Limited Warranty

👉 Structural Warranty covers the “bones” of the trailer.
👉 Limited Warranty covers parts and components like doors, flooring, trim, and lights.

What the Structural Warranty Covers

Depending on your model (1 or 3 years), Haulmark covers:

  • Main rails & cross members

  • Wall posts & roof bows/trusses

  • Tongue/A-frame

  • Structural welds

  • Headers, corner posts, outriggers, rear perimeter

  • Ramp door structure

What the 1-Year Limited Warranty Covers

For one year from your purchase date, Haulmark will cover defects in things like:

  • Windows, doors, seals & vents

  • Flooring & trim (wood, aluminum, carpet, stone guard, etc.)

  • Electrical components & lights

  • Cabinets & interior walls

  • Mechanical jacks & locks

  • Paint finish, undercoating, fenders

1-Year Corrosion Warranty

The paint coating on exposed steel (like the A-frame, rear end rail, or door framing) is covered for 1 year against defects in materials or workmanship.

Not Covered: Normal wear, scratches, rock chips, salt or chemical corrosion, or damage from accidents/natural disasters.

What’s Not Covered

Haulmark’s warranty does not cover:

  • Axles, tires, rims, brakes, winches, A/C units, appliances, generators, furniture, and other items not made by Haulmark (these may be covered by their own manufacturers).

  • Normal wear and tear, neglect, overloading, or misuse.

  • Damage from road salt, chemicals, snow/ice buildup, or accidents.

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.

  • Cosmetic issues like scratches, dents, paint fading, or decal wear.

  • Any costs for towing, lodging, meals, or lost income while repairs are being made.

How to Keep Your Warranty Active

  • You (or your dealer) must register the warranty within 30 days of purchase.

  • Always go through your selling dealer first if you need warranty work.

  • The dealer will contact Haulmark for authorization before repairs are made.

  • Haulmark will repair defective parts — but won’t refund the trailer or pay for outside repairs without approval.

Bottom Line

Haulmark trailers are built tough, and their warranty is designed to protect you from defects — not from normal wear or misuse.

Your action steps as an owner:

  1. Register your trailer within 30 days.

  2. Follow regular maintenance.

  3. Contact your dealer right away if you find a defect.

That’s it. Simple, clear, and ready for the road ahead. 🚛✨
